Style, elegance and sophistication are the hallmarks of a wedding at The Langham. Looking for enchanting backdrops to host your ceremony? The Langham offers six stunning venues – Alto, Yarra Room (Yarra I and II), Clarendon Ballroom, Flinders Room, Swanston Room (Swanston I and II) and Tower II – with varying capacities.

The hotel has a breathtaking grand foyer with a marble staircase and crystal chandeliers that provide stunning opportunities for wedding photography. 

If you’re looking for some pre-wedding pampering, the Chuan Spa is a great place to unwind or host a hens’ party.  

The hotel can provide you with a list of their preferred suppliers for entertainment and photography. Alternatively, you could BYO band or photographer following approval.

The venue offers full-service catering and bar services and BYO wedding cakes.

If you’re planning a wedding reception at The Langham, you’ll have six beautiful indoor venue options to pick and choose from. 

Alto is located on the 25fth (rooftop) level of the hotel and offers panoramic views of the Melbourne skyline. With elegantly appointed interiors and an abundance of natural light, the expansive space is ideal for 130 seated guests or 180 guests in a standing cocktail reception. Alto is a premium function space at The Langham, and a room hire charge will apply.  

For a luxe backdrop, the Clarendon Ballroom with its crystal chandeliers, silk wall upholstery and timber panelling, offers an apt setting. The room is flexible, so you can design a wedding flow that makes the most of this beautiful space. 

Yarra Room is a combination of two interconnecting rooms (Yarra I & II). Together they can be styled to match your wedding colour and theme preferences.

Some of the other famous venues include Swanston Room (Swanston I and II), Flinders Room and Tower II. Each of these venues offers versatility in terms of layout and design, along with gorgeous outdoor views. 

The hotel allows a three-piece band for your function in Alto (no drums permitted). Clarendon Ballroom is ideal for a 5-piece band.

      Yes, the Southgate car park is located beneath the hotel. Valet services are also available from $69 for 24 hours. If you’ve booked a wedding package at the hotel, you’ll have access to valet parking for the couple + 2 guests.
